Bourbon Street Bar and Grill in Puyallup

Came here with 2 co-workers after a long clinic day at work. I arrived shortly after them and sat down about the same time as them. We chose to sit out doors since only one other table was filled and it was sunny, rare for Washington. About 10min. later water was brought out and drink orders were taken. Possibly 10min. later our drinks arrived and water was refilled. We were never asked about food. As we sat there, over a 35min. Time frame, the tables filled and others were asked to order. We never saw a waiter at our table again. Our empty glasses sat in the sun as we were passed by. Finally we went to the bar to pay to leave. I almost didn't tip but the bar tender did a better job than anyone so I left a tip for him only. It's very unfortunate when looking for a place to eat with culture and good music, you get poor service. I will not be returning.

After going here with my adult children, (and loving it,) I suggested Bourbon Street to my husband last week. Again, they were awesome! I needed comfort food and the shrimp & grits delivered on every level! Yum! Bonus: their bartender is a genius. Definitely try some of their specials--it's an adventure in a glass! (Bonus: metal straws, not plastic!)

The food was delicious. I tried the fried chicken over grits with collard greens. Grits were creamy and chicken was crispy and tender. I guess they ran out of greens. Unfortunately we weren't told that or I probably would have ordered something else. The blackened chicken was spicy and sat on creamed roasted potatoes. Very good food all around. Try the beignets!The bar was busy so I assume the drinks must be tasty. Serving staff was a little overwhelmed but very friendly.

Top notch food!! Everything scratch! Try the blackened ribeye 🥩 it has a sauce to die for plus the hurricanes were so good!!

Ordered my food through doordash. I waited over an hour for my food. Just for my dasher to call me and tell me that she got to the restaurant and apparently there not doing any online deliveries today. Well that's false advertisement. Because clearly on the website it states that there doing delivery. A courtesy phone call would of been nice to inform me of this. First and last time I order from this place.

This is our go to place for special occasions. The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is so amazing. The drinks are made just right! We love taking our families and friends when they come visit and everyone always loves it. Definitely a gem here in Puyallup.

Food took awhile to come out but it was steaming hot and full of flavor. The cocktails were great tasted like real rose and lavender were in the drinks. Only thing I would suggest is for them to add a kids menu because there wasn't one and I had my child with me. This place is definitely worth your money and wait.

Excellent place to eat if you enjoy Cajun food, or just seafood in general. The atmosphere is okay, although I will most likely have to revisit that statement as they appear to be under renovation at the moment. Food was excellent, with their proprietary sauces giving everything a distinct, savory flavor that you just cant get anywhere else. The service was also average, although again, Covid-19 will probably have me revisiting that statement when all this is over. If you can manage to get in with the 50% restaurant capacity limit (it's already a fairly small place), I can guarantee you that you will not regret it.

As always, the best food in town! The PoBoys are fabulous, I always get the oyster PoBoy, but the shrimp is equally good. The catfish is also great. The atmosphere is home town friendly and the service great. I highly recommend it to anyone who has never been there. Their Cajun good is extremely good and authentic if you like spicy food.

First time here. Went here on a Saturday night a 7pm. We ate outside patio. That was nice. They had live music which was a bit loud. Staff was nice and friendly. But they have VERY slow service! We didn't get our food until 9pm. The food was good but I don't like waiting 2 hours to eat.

Food was decent... However the waitress (though she may have been having a hard day) completely forgot my boyfriend's meal (ie didn't check her ticket). Instead of bringing out the catfish with hush puppies on the side, she just brought him an order of hush puppies and still had us pay for the additional order that we didn't place. When I asked about it we were told it would just be 5 more minutes, it was close to 15. I'm usually understandable when it comes to mistakes, but the meal overall was more than it should have been for ok food and having to pay for someone else's mistake. Hush puppies were incredible though.

The food was amazing and the staff was very attentive. Overall I zero complaints. I would recommend it to everyone !!

Oh god, the food here was glorious! And the manager/owner was making sure that everyone enjoyed the food, and was being overall extremely hospitable, visiting every table to ensure satisfaction of the food and the service. 10/10 would recommend, all the time

We loved it here! Stopped in to have a drink and get some food. The bartender, Lucas, was amazing! He made some suggestions of new Gins and Bourbons because they didn't have what we normally get. We tried a few different things that we really enjoyed. My husband ended with an old fashion and said it was the best he had ever had! Lucas was very knowledgeable and had some great stories. We really enjoyed our evening there and the conversation. We would highly recommend this little place.

We drove all the way from Portland Oregon and found this gem! Authentic savory New Orleans taste! Friendly staff and excellent service. The owner spent some time chatting with us. Great guy! Highly recommend 👌🏼
